Charging over night

I accidentally left my sony xperia z5 premium on charge overnight. What could happen to it.

Nothing bad should happen. The phone has a built in shut off and should stop drawing power when it is full. The worst thing is you may slightly reduce the overall battery life of the phone.

I'm a little worried because I accidentally left my Xperia Z5 charging overnight. When I woke up it'd already passed couple of hours since the cellphone reached 100%.
Should I replace the battery?
Is that going to profoundly affect the battery health?
