camera problem (black screen)

My xperia z2 camera isn't working. When i open the camera, only show the black screen with camera key and settings and take pictures but it is just black

The front camera is working well.

Try settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data. Restart.

If the above does not help,you may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Try Clearing the camera app data.

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the camera app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

When I try to take any picture I can only see a black screen... It only happens to the back camera, the front camera Works fine.
Please help!

Try the earlier suggestions in this topic and see if those help. If not then try performing a software repair using PC Companion with the help of a PC.
