I took half a dozen or so pictures today when I was out and didn't look at them until later in the day when I returned home.
The camera was in Superior Auto+ mode for some and in manual for the others. The camera was setup to save to memory card. I've had no problems with photographs up to today.
I could not find the photographs I'd taken. In the camera app instead of the pictures there were two black icons with a white jagged line across them. I couldn't find anything with File Commander. I tried taking some further test pictures and noticed that as it tried to save the pictures the orange spining circle thingy never went away. I switched to internal memory and there was no issue.
Any ideas? Corrupt memory card? It's only 6 months old...

Same problem here, camera do not save pictures (internal memory or SD)
It's a Sony camera software problem - you can use some other camera software (like CameraMX) without picture saving problems.
