Burst mode missing!

Burst mode missing!

If im not mistaken, Camera app on Z5C (might as well be with Z5 and Z5P) is missing a burst mode unlike one in Z3C. Feature removed on purpose or?

And i do like the fact Camera app now includes the grid unlike previous phones.

Yes, they reoved burst mode in the z5. seems like every other company is improving their camera app with new features and even raw capturing..and yet Sony while claming to have the best camera, has the worse software and is moving backwards by removing useful modes like burst. What's the point of having super fast autofocus when you can't shoot in burst for action?

i think i have a suggestion, you can start using 3rd party apps, rather than relying on Built in Camera App.

A Better Camera

You guys can try this.

Yes, I too miss the burst mode. That was my standard to take photos in burst, so I feel like going back in time… Please, Sony, give us burst back

the same problem is there for this pp and all other apps..you can only use 8mp 16:9 resolution for the photos..

i wouldn't mind 8mp, but not 16:9...photos should be 3:2...it's not a movie

Yep, no burst mode. There's only Timeshift Burst

I actually use to use "A Better Camera" but because Sony does not have a Full Camera 2.0 implementation, using any 3rd party camera app will have severe limitations.  For example, with ABC I cannot shoot 4K.  It is also slower.  The photos turn out better though with ABC's DRO.

Well, given that it is advertised as having "a camera designed by exerts", I would expect it to have burst mode without the need of third-party software. My previous phone, Z1 Compact, had it, so it is strange that they have removed such a necessary feature... Maybe it is due to overheating or something? Even then, the developers could have put some kind of limit on the number of photos taken - not removed the feature alltogether.

Hello there

I used to have xperia z1, z2,and z3

When you try to shoot photos repeatedly which is called burst mood

You just keep your finger pressed on camera botton. Unfortunately in my xperia z 5 pre dosent have these mood ( burst mood) it has been changed with timeshift burst mood which it is useless in my opinion it is a big mistake to remove these mood especially when we talk about a more developed phone with camera 23 mpxl i hope if some body has found sulotion for these proplem thx for all

@Sai7

It has been asked before, as of right now there's no info if burst mode will return.
