If im not mistaken, Camera app on Z5C (might as well be with Z5 and Z5P) is missing a burst mode unlike one in Z3C. Feature removed on purpose or?
And i do like the fact Camera app now includes the grid unlike previous phones.
I don't have this phone to test it myself but are you using the superior auto mode or manual mode?
Using SuperioAuto, Manual didn't have this in any version of Camera app i've know since 4.3 if i recall correctlly.
And in modes theres only the old Timeshift Burst which does the job BUT at only 720p on a 4K capable phone. My good old Xperia M could do it at 1080p...
Burst mode missing might be because it takes phone an awefull lot time to process and save the image after it's been taken, so it'll slow the whole process if 10,20,30+ pictures taken in a row... Considering how iPhones, Samsungs and LGs take the picture fast without any pause, this is kinda big thing.
Hope they'll fix the time taken and reinclude burst mode as it has its advantages being able to shot full resolution pics in a row.
How can Sony compete with Apple without this basic feature??
My old iPhone 5s (and new 6 and 6s) have long press burst at full resolution working flawlessly!!. After that it automatically choses the pictures that are supposed to be the best (and it truly does usually a good job).
Another thing that annoys me is the lag time that the xperia z5 takes to show the pictures with full detail (around 2 sec.).. again for me this is unacceptable if Sony is competing with Apple in the photographic experience...
Same with panorama pictures, much slower to be postprocessed, iOS is almost instantaneous!
I really don't know how the reviews are being done... I decided to change to Android because of the Z5 photographic experience but I'm a bit dissillusioned till now...
Best Regards
Burst mode is missing on Z5 series...
it will probably be squeezed out because if you move Xperia Z3+/Z4 to Camera V2, Z4 will loose the burst mode too.... :S
