Brightness problem on Z3C

Hi everyone, so i was using my phone outdoors and noticed the screen brightness was low, i unchecked adaptive brightness and tried to manually adjust the scale and it did not work anymore. The screen can get dimm when i lower the settings but when i try to increase it wont respond past a certain scale 20-30%, the phone has become unusable now outdoors:smileysad:
Did a software repair but problem is still there so i'm thinking its a hardware issue. What do you guys think?
