You can charge the phone whenever you like. The battery does not need to be at 0% to charge optimally. You can charge at 10, 30 or 75%, whatever fits you.

True, but make sure to never let the battery completely discharge. See this on how to charge Li-Ion.

Usually I am charging from. 40% to 90% but I want to know is it healthy to charge from 40% until 100%?

Any type of charging pattern is healthy,as long as you don't let it completely discharge.

I own a Z3 Dual, and I assure you that phone may heat up to only safe levels, as normal. It did overheat once but that was because I used it to take pictures in direct sunlight in a very hot day (45 degrees). Camera works very well, starts in a second and very responsive. Battery depends on installed apps and amount of notifications/sync/calls/etc. I'm a heavy user and it lasts for a full day of calls and browsing with WiFi, GPS, and mobile data on.

Hey I got my xperia z3 dual sim running on kitkat last week .when i enter the power management it's giving that my estimated time is 24 hr without stamina but I think it should be more ????? I read on another community that the li ion battery needs to get after 5 or more cycles is it right
P.S when I bought my phone i turned it on directly to test my sim after that I charged it until 100%( ????)

So you are still on KK? One thing to try that will reset stamina and the controller: first, make sure stamina is disabled. Then,go to settings-apps-all,scroll down to stamina app,tap on it,force stop, clear data. Restart your device.

No it doesn't, from now it will learn your usage pattern and estimate according to that.

It won't be a problem if you force stop a process.
