backup & restore app doesn't work properly - stuck

after latest update of my z5c to 6.0.1 backup and restore app has stopped working properly. as you can see from screenshot the backuping started at 8:31 but at 10:21 it still "backuping".

to make it works properly I have to click on that info line to open app and then it starts to do its job.

backup is stored on sd card,

backuped are just contacts, calendar, wifi networks, device settings and xperia home layout,

have set daily  backuping

First: backups are stored on amazon's servers not sony's / google's

Second: i backup on my sd card (external memory)

Pls read before post

first : i read your post and you did not mention amazon before, try using other cloud based storage, your google account perhaps.

second, try using another sd card

third: there are lots of 3rd party backup apps in google play you should try

My backup to sdcard (also including apps) can take a while, maybe 10-20 minutes depending on number of apps. It might be you just have to wait longer? Reboot your phone and try again.

I'm just reporting issue to be fixed. Why should I use another app when this one is good but need to be fixed.

Btw amazon servers is only one default place where it's stored. It's written in "about" section in app.

My backups does NOT include any apps just contact list, calendar agenda, wifi settings , home launcher layout and device settings...

Here are some tips from Amazon regarding uploading to their drive.

Sometime the internet connection maybe overwhelmed so transfer of data may be slow. I would suggest to backup to PC via Xperia Companion before loading onto cloud. PCs are more robust than a smartphone.

I don't use amazon, i use backuping to sd card. I mentioned amazon and all about that just because someone advised me use another servers ( what is in this case impossible).
So again, I use sd card to store backups. Tried 2 card it's still happening, it rather doesn't work than does.
