Back Glass Battery Cover Replacement For Sony Xperia Z5

Guys I broke the back battery cover glass on my sony z5 compact. So I ordered a replacement I got from ebay and after fitting to phone I noticed that it is not flush with the outside surround bezel. Unhappy with it i ordered an original back cover and found that it too will not sit flush with the phones surround bezel. Am i missing some other part or padding that is placed between battery and back cover that will step the back cover out flush with the surrounding bexel ?

I have the original cover so I don't need to purchase another cover.

The back cover is slightly recessed by design, so you're not missing anything. It shouldn't be flush, same as the front display panel isn't flush to the bezel either. 

Having said that, did you apply the correct adhesive seal? Was this supplied with the replacement back cover?

Hey! Im having trouble finding an original replacement and worried I might purchase a fake one since they do a terrible job and break very easily even if they fall just once. Where did you purchase the original back cover from? Could you point me in the right direction? Around how much di it cost?
