tried to set my alarm other day but the alarm button has no response at all. worked fine a while ago.
i'm not on stamina mode or anything but I simply can't find out how or where to fix this.
when i open the clock app the 3 other icons work fine, stop watch etc...but the alarm icon simply doesn't do anything.
anyone can help

Thanks for the ideas guys but I've found the solution !
Apparantly I've had a system upgrade and this has changed how the alarm clock is now set.
No longer do you use the alarm clock icon to enter the alarm time and set it, but now you have to press the + sign at the
bottom of the screen and this presents another screen with multiple options.
One of these is called 'Time' but in fact doesn't reset the time but sets the alarm clock via a clock face that is presented, do this
and click ok, then press Save and then it returns you to the first screen where you can see the alarm time..
So now when I press the alarm clock icon on the first screen it presents a clock face and below it the alarm time and a slider where it can be turned on or off.
And that, gentlemen, is supposedly an improvement on what was there before !

You can also try resetting the clock app by going to Settings > Apps > Clock > Force Stop > Storage > Clear Data.
