Yeah this is pretty much all of the mainstream Z5 series models. And as you can see, nearly all Z5 series users in the world got the .305 update since last month but UK as an important stronghold, if not the most, for Sony Mobile still haven't received this update! It was always late for UK region in the past as well but it was never "this late". I know, let alone the customised Three-O2-Vodafone firmwares, even the generic UK firmware goes under some customisations before its release, so this causes the bit of a delay, but still! UK deserves to get the updates a MONTH/MONTHS later than the people who got it first? I had been having some overheating/slowing problems with my Z5C during the time I heard .305 update was released, so I decided not to "repair it with Xperia Companion" again with .253, so I've been waiting for the release of .305 so I can clean install with .305 right away but it seems like Sony will pass it directly to Nougat update -.- . And even Sony Local representatives on the phone doesn't know anything! We, UK region customers, demand a statement, please!
Agree with Virdis....i am on 02 & still awaiting the update but in no rush, would rather wait till they have tested everything :smileysmileywink:
Yeah, I know they are testing it, which is good but even so, a month?! I'm on SIM free firmware version, and from what I heard, this firmware is already sorted with heat and RAM management, which is what I exactly need before Nougat rollout starts. I've been checking Xpericheck website multiple times a day now. As soon as I see "Customised UK" I'll hook my phone up and do a clean install but everytime I close the browser empty handed...
Yeah, i get that, it's really bad that sim free has to wait for network clearance, but that's how the system works.
I converse with someone at O2 that may know what's going on with their testing, so I'll ask and get back on here when I get a reply.
Thank you
