XZP notifications issues

Hello, I upgraded my XZ Premium to android Pie, november patches, but notifications are not working properly. 

I  some apps that don't send notifications, and I don't know why this happens. I also have a Sony device (x compact) with oreo, and notifications are displayed everytime. Recently I got in contact with other Sony smartphone owners and they have the same problem. How can you solve that? Does Sony know this issue?

I've problems with the sound that should accompany the notifications. Sometimes it is there and sometimes not, you never know.
The notification on the start screen is always delivered, the sound however not always.

Oh... My notification sounds are OK, I have issues with notifications badges, I basically can't receive them in my notification bar.

I think it's a problem with some outdated apps and not a Pie bug.

Specifically, I've two Gmail accounts, one almost always sounds the notification but the other almost never. Both are set to give sound (different though 😉  ). ( I had the suspicion that my Samsung Galaxy watch to which I transmit notifications from the phone did interfere, but have rejected that. Will try to disable for Gmail to test again)

What about switching off all notifications on the device as well as in the apps.

Then switch it on, one by one.

See what happens.
