XZ Phone won't turn on and screen got hot.

Hope someone can help,

Just made couple of phone calls and battery at around 70%.

After finishing latest call, screen went black and top of screen / handset got very warm as if the processor was cooking itslef. 

Handset has now cooled down however phone won't turn back on.

Any help much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that, connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power for 10 seconds > let it charge for 1-2 hours > report back.

It had 70% battery when it happened. Decided to put it on charge over night and tried various attempts and combinations of holding buttons down all to no avail.

Went back to O2 store where it was purhcased and they couldn't get it working. 

My 3rd handset in 18 months.
