Over the years, we often encounter such a never ending problem on Xperia photo samples, as overexposure of bright areas.:smileyalert:
Why sony flagships still have this old problem?
Could you walk us through the camera settings and what are you setting the focus to?
Set your metering differently.

if you will tap on a brightly lit area, then the rest, what in the shadows will become even blacker, xperia`s already have a big imbalance between the shadow and the light ... And how do you imagine such a scenario: if you need to focus on one object and at the same time, there were you don`t want see overexposed areas around the subject ..? For example, on the Lg G4 camera, this problem is solved simply: you tap on the brightly lit area and fix the exposure in manual mode, and after the exposure is fixed, you focus on any other object. And how on sony, you are going to do that, according to the of "Kurt Cobain" recommendations..?
Ah so metering is set to touch.
Set it to multi
