Xperia XZ PREMIUM Fingerprint problem after Android Pie updates

I've already updated my XZ PREMIUM to Android Pie ,since then No Fingerprint working

When I try to set up a new fingerprint  the sensor not even responding, it's like complety gone, but know that not possible when you just UPDATED your OS doesn't mean it has corrupt the Fingerprint scanner on the power button

Please consider this

Hi, have you tried clearing the data and cache of the apps FingerprintExtensionService and Fingerprints ASM? (Settings>Apps and Notifications>All apps>Show System)

I also have this problem, I was sure it was since Pie update too, I've tried all the advice in this thread plus cleaned the sensor. No dice. only thing i haven't done yet is reset. Did you have any luck sorting this?

I just done a Factory Reset. Fixed this for me.

Then it broke again. 😞
