I own an Xperia XZ premium and lately i have noticed that the bluetooth is switching off and I am not able to connect any bluetooth devices.
The sam problem on devices xperia xz premium (G8142) and xperia xz1 dual (G8342) and is since firmware 47.1.A.12.34. If the bluetooth is not working the test in support menu also failed.
Please fix ASAP
I have the same problem with my XZP.
When will Sony provide a solution to this issue??
My Xperia also turns off Bluetooth without permission and never turns on again.
Turn on / off airplane mode,
Changing the Bluetooth version with the developer option has no effect at all.
It will be turned on by rebooting,
I am very sorry that other functions are satisfactory.
Please deal with Sony promptly.

My XZP also have issue with BT connection It hard to connect with my Feiyu SPG-C stabilizer and when it connected it can't maintain the connect (lost connection after few minutes)
With my MPOW Jaws also like above, hard to connect but at least it can maintain the connect.
It also hard to connect with other smartphone. It only easy to connect with device that got NFC
Summary, the only thing that i not satisfy about XZ Premium is the Bluetooth. It so bad...
Mine is XZ Premium Dual (G8142) - 47.1.A.12.75 - 1309-2181 Customized VN
Did Software Repair but not solve the problem...
I also have the same problem. Help
I have to manually connect my Sony Xperia ZX premium to the car Bluetooth and Sony Bluetooth speaker each and every time.
Sometimes it takes 3 attempts to connect and even then it may drop out. It also won't have a strong connection causing crackling.
I've tested if the same occurs with my work mobile which is a Xperia z5 compact and it connects without issues to the same appliance and car Bluetooth.
The issue is with the ZX premium. It appears others have had similar issues with their Xperia ZX premium so I'm assuming the issue will not be resolved.
I've had Sony mobiles for many years without problems or complaints but this is a problem that if can't be resolved I will have to change to Samsung as needed to be able to reliability take and make calls for work when in my vehicle.
