Whenever I connect my headphone (with mic) to XZ, it shows up the headphone icon and disconnect after 2 seconds. I cannot play music at all with this. The only thing that works is when I first made a call, and then plug in the headphone, the headphone will work until the call ends. For other apps like music apps, headphone won't stay connected.
I also have a Z3 and this is not an issue there.
Is this a software issue or hardware? Can I request a repair/replacement?

You could repair it with XC but this seems to be more of a hardware issue, you could contact your Local support to get it inspected/repaired.
you should test another pair of headphones and report back.

I have tried few of my other headphones, which one of them being a Sony headphone, and they all behave the same.
