Xperia XZ double tap to wake too sensitive

My Xperia XZ too sensitive for double tap to wake, even the 2 tap I tap on different place, it also wake my phone. some time I put in pocket waking also will wake the phone. I take out the phone from my poket some time accesing some app or access emagency call. this is annoying so I off the double tap to wake function. My previouse Xperia Z2 double tap to wake quite ok and must tap on the same spot, just not sure why XZ over sensitive.

You're lucky. Often my XZ needs a hundred taps to wake. It is by far and away the most frustrating issue.

i know this is an old post. but you tap to wake in the center of the screen. i found this out recently after getting frustrated with the tap to wake feature. it even says this in the settings which i neglected to read at first.
