Has anyone else experienced extremely slow WiFi connection that won't even load a page some times after updating the XZ2 to android P?? Everything worked perfectly on oreo and it seems isolated to a few apps like Instagram Facebook and Google chrome that take extremely long to load or just won't load pages at all. Any help would be appreciated..
I have a problem. WI-fi work is not correct. His work, and for one second down absolutely and going on again.
Pages, adds not work normal. With mobile net everything OK.
Does anybody have quick battery draining with Android 9? When I've unpluged the phone from the charger in the morning and dropped few % in minutes without even using it. Few days ago on Oreo I used it all day long and didn't even dropped under 80%. What is going on? Will this be fixed soon?
My post re website problems - not always loading after pie update, seems to be the same as your experience. Unfortunately no help from Sony or Google as yet.
I can confirm this. I've rebooted and it's working fine. (user here H8266)
Since my previous post have tried a re-instal of pi. Still the same problem. This is a major inconvenience and needs sorting ASAP.
Same here (I guess since the pie-Update). I tried everything (reset, developer options), but there's definitley a problem with the wifi-connection. its not only my home-network though.
Its Twitter, Facebook and some Chrome-Websites. Twitter is not usable for me, cuz it wont refresh most of the time. Everything is fine on mobile network.
Sony plz fix this!
HI there,
Yep there is definitely something wrong since the Pie update.
Just bought an XZ2 Compact 1 week ago & got an exchange by my network provider yesterday but the problems are still there.
Wifi always disconnect & reconnect when I am at a medium range (like -70dm) of my router.
It was working perfectly on Oreo as after I get the new one I made some test during all the updates process (from February to September on Oreo & then Pie).
Also, I'm now unable to make any backup of my phone via the Xperia backup process integrated since this update too.
The November security patch didn't solve this issues yet so let's hope it will this month if we have one.
Also a reset didn't help much.
I don't think it's necessarily Sony related for the network part as many others brands users also have this kind of problems since the Pie update so it's probably much on Google's side except for the backup part which is probably much on Sony.
If someone like a dev, programmer or represent could answer to us, we would really appreciated 😊.
Thanks 😉.
