When the phone in charge display does not turn off

Hi, can someone help me? I have an Xperia XZ, is it normal when the phone is charging that the display does not turn off?

As @uliwooly wrote, rebooting your device in safe mode is a good way to see if this is caused by one of your downloaded applications or not.

However, there is a setting in the developer options of the device that will keep the screen active during charging, so if you have enabled the developer options in your device, either turn it off, or go through the different settings inside developer options and disable this function.
