Weather notification change fahrenheit to celcius

I have a sony xperia xz premium which I recently updated to android 8.0.0.

This update offers a conundrum of problems from being unable to stop your phone vibrating when you recieve a text to your battery depleting very quickly.

There is one problem I cannot solve, and that is to change the weather notification to state the temperature in celcius instead of fahrenheit.

I have set the weather app to display celcius and have asked the Google assistant to use celcius as my preferrence. My location and language is set to UK and UK English respectively (on my phone, weather app and Google account) .

I don't normally have to post questions like this on forums but I really cannot find a solution by myself. Any help would be appreciated.

The weather app I am using is the default one that came with the phone.

I have read elsewhere you can change settings on the Google Now app but this is not installed on my phone.

@Vehelits Xperia Weather app that comes preinstalled in your phone doesn't show any notifications, so it must be something else. if it's a Google Now notification, you can open Google app (there's no separate Google Now app) and change the weather unit somewhere in its settings.
