My volume button keeps freezing, restarting the phone clears the issue, but can't keep doing this. Seems to be software related

Can you start your handset in safe mode and see if you have the same problems?

Used in safe mode for a couple of days with no problems, I reset to normal, seems to be ok at the moment. By the way I'm using the same downloaded Aps that were on my previous phone which was a sony z3, I had no issues.
