Use charger from xperia z?

Hi 

I got charger from xperia z i think its EP880. Does this work with xperia xz2  Compact of I buy an usb c cable? 

I also got sony original car charger that i used for xperia z, does this also work for xz2 compact?

Hi @Sleber,

The EP880 will work just fine with an Xperia XZ2 Compact, but as you said, you will need a USB Type-C cable if you only have the cable from the Xperia Z available.

As far as I can remember, the charger that was included with the Xperia Z was the EP880 or EP881 (same output, just a different name), but the box content can differ between markets, however all chargers included with any Xperia devices can charge any Xperia devices, but the output can be different, depending on the charger.
