Usb Prompt

Every time I plug my phone into the car to use usb port for car app, the phone screen gives four options,  asks do I want to charge, transfer files, use with apps etc.... Same if I connect it to PC

Is there a way to disable this prompt appearing everytime I connect usb?

Hi @greggproud!

I'm afraid that there is no option to turn this off, even if you set the USB connection category to the importance "Low", you will still see the pop-up when you connect it to a computer, or in your case your car.

Why it shows up is because the device will not automatically be connected in MTP mode (Media transfer protocol) when connected to, for example, a computer and will only charge as default, if you don't choose another option.

I hope that answers your question although there is no solution.
