USA XZ1/XZ1 Compact Firmware Updates

Can anyone who owns a USA XZ1/XZ1 compact confirm if they have gotten their firmware updated since the phone was released? I bought my XZ1 Compact back in October 2017, and the phone is still on on August security patches. This also means that I have not received the camera distortion fix that the rest of the world seems to have received. Contacting Support doesn't get me anywhere, as they just stay quiet on the issue

I'm afraid that Sony has made a conscious decision to not update USA models after their initial release. If this is true, this would affect my decision to purchase another Xperia phone in the future.

Please don't reply with "Well you can flash the firmware...". I know this, and it is impertinent to what I'm asking.

XZ1 gets regular updates, US XZ1 Compact is stuck on a build created 145 days ago with no communication from Sony explaining the delay.

Sony Customer Service was completely lost on this issue. It's sad this happens with the US market. I think this is proof they don't care about that specific segment.

I had to flash my phone to another CDA in order to get updates. It's so good that Flashtool now works with XZ1C.

its a shame from sony with the Updates.. why are they not going on vanilla Android?

Yes, I saw it was finally updated. Is it working properly?

I flashed my phone to another version because I was tired of waiting.
