Hey everyone,
I'm not able to transfer my saved wifi connections from my old xperia to the XZ1, which previously always worked.
Has anyone a clue?

If you check under your Gmail/Google account, are you syncing everything?
Yes that's what I always do. But I can transfer everything but not wifi. When I save it on my old phone there is the wifi option, later on the new one not.
Do you know how to restore it with Google, I mean there isn't a wifi option in the google sync options...
The easiest thing to do is to use Xperia Mobile Transfer, but which Xperia is your old device?

Yes I know but I have tried this 5 times and the wifi settings will not appear in the settings, maybe due to new settings in android 8?...

Yes, it is a Xperia X. There are all wifi settings.
On your Xperia X
Settings > Backup & reset > More > Manual backup so you can see that WiFi its selected > back > back
Back up my data > ON
Backup account make sure that it is the same Gmail account
Automatic restore On
Do the same on your new Xperia

Thanks a lot for your effort. I have found the problem but not the solution. With the XZ1 there is no wifi toggle in the transfer app anymore. So any way with google only?
