Hi,
i have a wiered problem with the touch screen. Quite often the first touch is not recognized and i have to touch the screen a second time to get the touch recognized by the phone.
For example i touch an application on the sony launcher there is no reaction, when i touch it the second time the application gets started.
There is no extra screen protection on the screen and the screen itselfe is clean.
Does this sound like a hardware problem ?
I have this problem too. I've done the tests, and it occasionally will fail in safe mode for the screen touch test. But the next time it will pass. I've done a full reset (twice) and it still persists. (See screenshot)
I have a Rev 4.
Have updated to 45.0.A.7.90 used for a few days now and the issue still persist.
It is really very hard to pinpoint the issue. Sometimes it just works fine, but sometimes misses touch input.
Mine is also a Rev.4.
I think this could be hardware related.
About a mounth and no reaction from Sony regarding this problem. supprt for a so called Premium phone. I advice get rid of this crappy phone and buy something reliable.
Hi there
Similar problem, looks like the right bottom area is affected. Noticed couple things, when the phone is not used, there is no problems with the to touchscreen. After a while, texting, or even scorlling on FB you will start encouter miss points on the screen, it is very frustrating when you trying to text something quickly but it does not catching the letters.
So after around 15 min using the screen it is starting playing up. Im just really hoping this is software related, miss reads
I have the same problem with my phone too. It sometimes feel like the phone is maybe too slow so it can't register the touch.
Same problem here. However I found a worked workaround, just applied matte screen protector. Now typing has been smooth like never before (with a sacrifice of display crispiness).
yes, the same problem.
And bad news is, I tried the "adb" tool to simulate swipe operations for 1000 times with command "adb shell input swipe xx xx xx xx (two coordinate)", the device responds well,
which means when it detects the swipe operation it works fine,
which means it doesn't detect the finger swipe occationally,
which means it COULD BE HARDWARE related.
BTW, mine is HongKong version firmware
