So I have been using pie now for a week and this is how I'm saving battery life.
At first once updating you will notice that your battery is running out faster.
This is Android tracking your usage and frequency of many apps. So I tinkered a bit.
The adaptive battery helps a lot in terms of restricting apps using too much battery.
Restricting certain apps will help take the load off your battery. See below screens. You will my battery since the last charge. Also note that if social media apps are restricted, your notifications may be delayed.
