Static/crackling from headphone socket

The XZ1C has been a great phone so far, but now 6 weeks after I got the phone I've started to have problems with the 3.5 socket, everytime the plugged in jack is moved even a bit there is an audible crackle noise from the headphones and when the phone is in my pocket it sometimes pauses music completely because of this.

Problem started a few weeks back and it seems to have gotten worse each day.

I have the same problem. I use the 3.5 to connect to stereo in car. I tried connecting headphones and get the same buzzing. Seems the audio jack is jacked. Phones great but I haven't had long. If I have to buy another phone it won't be a Sony.
