I was a loyal Sony customer until 2009 after which I moved onto other brands. In the last 10 years, I used various brands and in the last 2 years have been really unhappy with whichever phone I bought. I don't like the extremely large screen phones available currently in the market, they are very uncomfortable to physically manage, hold which leads to it falling from my hand everyday. I liked the iPhone 5S for its physical size and comfort, but I'm not a fan of apple. So I finally decided to go back to using a Sony when I spotted the compact. It fit perfectly in my hand and even though it's a bit thick, the thickness element actually helps with giving a good grip feeling. Bonus is the processor in this phone. It's amazing. Glad I switched back to Sony. Thx Sony for considering that there are some consumers in the market that would prefer a smaller size phone.
the current xz2 compact is
1. too heavy!
2. and also a little too big.
i hope that the xz4 compact will at least bea bit lighter.
Beside this i appreciat that Sony makes still the compacts and i will probably buy the xz4c as it reminds me the z3 compact. finally the fingerprint scanner will be back on the side! under the screen would be even better but hey this is also ok for me.
XZ2c is not really that bad except, the design kind of grows on you when you use it. Of course, the battery is not as good as XZ1c. Being a left handed person, i prefer the current position of the FPS compared to the one on the side

Maybe, the fact that FPC Is located on the back is an issue only for those who owned a phone with the side-located scanner previously. There was no FPC scanner on my previous phone, and now, after almost 5 months of using XZ2C, I find the backward-located FPC very convenient from the ergonomic point of view. Here is why.
I've set it up for both forefinger and middle finger on each of my hands, and it doesn't really matter now, which hand I am holding a phone with, as I always can reach the FPC on the back with either of two fingers.
