Sony Xperia XZ Premium - Call function hangs

Hi all, 

I find myself constantly having to reset my phone as the Call function is hanging all the time. It works (incoming and outgoing calls) immediately after the reset but should I leave the phone alone for a couple of hours, it's very likely that the next call will hang. 

Have tried doing a hard reset but the results are still the same. Any advise please?

I also have the same issue with my phone and have been trying to get that issue solved.

Is there anyone who has any solution or information to help us?

can you try booting into safe mode to see if the issue persists there? if it doesn't, then it's caused by a third party app.

Update for the benefit of others who might facing the same issue: 

Nothing worked so I eventually sent it into the Sony Service Centre for a check. After a week, it turns out that the motherboard was defective and the technician had it changed.

Phone works nicely now; fingers crossed.
