Sony xperia xz premium blutooth 5.0

Hello everyone,

I've been using xz premium for a year now. Until now, I don't know what's the point of Bluetooth 5.0 on this device. I cannot connect to dual audio. Nor do I have increased range(doesn't work after 10m). Also it has problems when playing something (sound interruptions) . I thought the feature would give me BT 5.0 features but turns out it's just BT 4.2 in disguise. I want Sony to fix this problem or stop calling it as BT 5.0.

I hope I've explained my point.

Thank you.

The active Features Always depend on the lowest BT Version of the connecten device. You can use the dual BT media, If all device are BT 5.0. then You will also have a higher range and faster Connection and lower battery Connection.

If your 5.0 XZP ist connected to a 4.2 speaker, the Connection equals a 4.2 to 4.2 Connection. You'll have a slightly better Connection and maybe a bit more range.

You can however Connect to two BT 4.2 speaker at the same time, but then only one ist used for music and the other one is handled as a hands-free device for phone calls (You have to manually Change the settings in your bt device list).

It's neither a bug, nor a Marketing Gag. That's how BT 5.0 works.

It's Like buying an WLAN adapter that Supports the slow 2.4GHz and the fast 5GHz and having an Router with only 2.4GHz antenna. Even If your stick supports a faster Connection, it it hast to use the slower 2.4 GHz otherwise it can't Connect.
