Repeating notification ring for unread text messages.

I just got the xperia xz premium about 2 weeks ago, I was searching for a feature to set unread text messages notifications to ring every few minutes while unread

Switching from a galaxy s5 that had this feature. 

I've searched all over the settings of the xperia xz. 

Its really needed for this phone I miss messages all the time.

@Nairrowhile the Android Messages app that's preinstalled on XZ Premium doesn't support that feature, you can try some third party SMS apps from Play Store that do that. Pulse SMS and Textra are two solid apps that have that very feature in settings.

You can also turn on the LED notification so that you get a visual reminder that you received a text, or email.
