Hi, i'm currently using Sony Xperia XZ (F8332) running on android 7.1.1 (latest version). I just want to ask on why is my phone isn't supporting fast charging. When i first used this phone, i charge it with fast charger from other manufacturer and it charges just a little bit fast compared to normal charger (i assume it charges with Qualcomm QC 1.0 speed). I'm not satisfied with the charging speed and decided to buy sony fast charger (UCH12W). When i charge my phone with Sony UCH12W, the same thing happens - it doesn't charge fast enough. It takes more than 2 hours to fully charge my phone from 20% battery left. This is definitely not QC 3.0 / QC 2.0 standard. Some XZ users managed to fully charged their phone for 1.5 hours only from 0% battery (now this is QC 3.0). I've tried factory reset and software repair from xperia companion, turning off battery care and i even charge with the phone completely turned off but the results are still the same. Is it true that sony disabled QC 3.0 / 2.0 on certain Xperia phones that was supposed to be supported with Qualcomm QC technology? Or is this problem comes from android nougat bugs? If it was caused by software bugs, please fix this problem when android oreo updates were ready for Xperia XZ and please provide any indicator when the phone is on fast charging mode or normal charging mode. As for now, there is no indicator that shows that the phone is on fast charging mode. Currently, this phone are still under warranty. If QC 3.0 on this phone were disabled, please tell me on how to enable it. If QC 3.0 cannot be enabled, i'm truly dissapointed and would consider to switch to other brands. Please sony, be alert for this kind of things.
