Problem bluetooth pairing

Hello

I am. Having big issues with connect my new Sony experia xz2 to my fossil watch and other devices.

Also I can get contacts to sink with vehicle hands free.

When you play amazon music you can't see who is playing on the head unit only the phone. These were not issues I had with my Samsung. Been a disappointing swap to Sony so far

I look forward to any help I can get. Thank you

Don't know if this applies to XZ2 too, but you can try.

Some reported it helps, some say it doesn't.

  1. Unpair both devices from each other.
  2. Go to Settings -> System -> About phone -> tap multiple times on "Build number" until you enable "Developer options"
  3. Go back to Settings -> System -> Developer options -> Networking -> Bluetooth AVRCP Version -> Choose AVRCP  1.4 or 1.5
  4. Restart your phone
  5. Pair devices and test.
  6. Report back if it works or not.

Hi,

I've tried to use both AVRCP  1.4 and 1.5 to connect to my WH_H900 headphones, to no avail. have restarted each time i change the setting. Any idea if there's anything else I can do. Tries to connect using both NFC and bluetooth as well.

Appreciate your help. thanks.

Hello

I am afraid I have tried every Bluetooth option like yourself and just can't get it to connect. Have to say if it was a Samsung it would of worked straight away, very annoying and disappointing with sony looking to be a great phone and coming up short.

Hope you get it sorted

Setting it to ARCP  1.5 from AVRCP 1.6 fixed connection issues with a (cheap)  bluetooth speaker and a headset. Until now only my car (from 2011) and my Garmin vivoactive HR were working on my Sony Xperia XZ2 premium.

Thanks.
