predictive text....

 can anyone help me....i hate predicitive text. cant find where to switch it off. xz1 compact

It's in the keyboard settings so may differ depending on which keyboard you are using.

For Xperia keyboard you'd either select the settings icon within the keyboard or through the main device menu go to Settings > System > Languages & input > On-screen keyboard > select keyboard in use > Word Suggestions > and then select the option you want.

In case you have the Swiftkey keyboard touch the + top left corner of the keyboard>cog wheel>cog wheel+>writing>writing and predictive text>turn off predictive text.
