I just bought Xperia XZ Premium and has update to 8.0 oreo (47.1.A.5.51). I have search google and see on YouTube how to use the predictive capture. Although it's been set to "auto" mode in the setting, still it's not working. I can't get a picture of moving objects instead of blurry image. Is there's any problem with the software or its me that don't know how to use the predictive capture?
@shb predictive capture works when there's a movement detected while you hold the camera button half-pressed so that the camera is focusing. when you them press the button all the way down, a series of 4 photos will be taken. keep in mind that depending on lighting conditions and the subject, you might still end up with some motion blur.
I have try that. I press camera button half and pressed it all the way down according my timing. But it end up with just 1 photo instead of +3 more photo predicted. There is no problem with the lighting condition as i try it outdoor.
Predictive capture does not work on xz premium please fix it sony
The superior auto function is also missing
In the new camera interface (came with Android 9) the camera opens in Superior Auto and you can choose a different mode after. So the standard mode is always Superior Auto.
