My phone stopped charging and recognizing anythign plugged into the usb port. I've tried two different cables, different charging sources, restarted, etc....
Has anyone else encountered this and if so how to did you remedy the situation?
I'd try blowing inside the socket opening to ensure there's no build up of debris.
Otherwise try a factory reset if the device still has sufficient charge (though Settings) - you'll lose all your non-backed up data but you will anyway if it goes off for repair.
Otherwise it does sound like a genuine hardware fault and you'll need to get it serviced via your Local Support
Nothing seems to have worked. In the process of trying to get it sent in for warranty repairs. Dealing with Sony with trying to get it sent in for repair or replacement is even more of a hassle than the phone breaking.
