I just bought myself yesterday a XZS dual (G8232). Since last night i have done numerous OTA updates which finally brought me to latest Oreo build (41.3.A.2.58) with Jan. security patch. I'm unimpressed with its charging capacity, not fast enough. There are few mili sec delay when it comes to multi tasking (lagging). Per battery info screen, it's been 4hrs since the phone's last full charge and im already at 69%, there is a problem with fast draining of juice since i haven't done much of internet or anything with the past 4 hours. Camera I have to test it in the coming days. Speakers produce descent sound though bottom speaker has lower audio than than the top. Phones temperature tends to go up, this problem never left Sony phones. And i need to document this one, the phone is gorgeous! I'm not sure what is their problem with its bezels but you really can't complain because the screen compensate everything.

battery life can last at least a day if you're not using it with data, just simple txt and call but that's not why these smartphones are made for. i get 4hrs of usage before dropping the battery to 15% in using the phone with data. not impressive. apparently i didn't get a fast charger in the package which could explain the charging of 2hrs.

I bought my XZs at september with Android nougat. All the time to end of december i could use my phone with one charge about 32h.Updated to Orea, now with same kind of use battery drains after 15-20 hours. Also theres sudden screen lag/unsensitivity that wasnt before Oreo.

I really want to go back with nougat, but dunno how.

i hope Sony is cooking another update that could address all issues after getting Oreo. About going back to Nougat, I think it is impossible like what the disclaimer says before installing the update.

i get this screen glitch innmy home screen after accessing a heavy game or app. solution ive done was to set the wallpaper again. has there been any other reports same to this? my phone has the latest oreo build btw.

I experienced all of above problems, is sony trying to fix?

so far no Sony moderator has commented or visited this post so im not sure if anything is being done to mitigate the problem.

phone is snappier now. so far that's the only thing i have after the update.
