Ok Google not working and Blank smart lock

Since 2 days OK Google has stopped working. The device recognizes my voice when i say OK Google but have to unlock the phone with pattern or fingerprint for it to continue!

Also i noticed that the smartlock section is blank now. 

Is there a fix for this?

it will be hard to suggest much other than try safe mode or repair the phone.

@uliwooly Resetting the phone beings back the apps removed by adb!!! 
BUT even after resetting the phone is not bringing.... Now i see that there is a seperate post about smartlock which you guys have conviniently ignored

My apologies... 
And uninstalling the Beta Version of Google and reverting back to the actual version helped
