Notification LED flash by apps?

My old Z5Compact flashed green for Messenger, yellow för Snapchat, blue for Facebook. Ny new XZ3 does NOT. Why? Settings suggests it would!

Did you check notifications inside your app settings.

Here are notifications on settings for WhatsApp and Signal as an example.
