Solved! Go to Solution.
I see it on an Xperia XZ on Android 8, but indeed it's gone with pie (just like world clock with the Xperia 1), I'll escalate this
Under settings/display was an option called
System icons
There u could turn on what is showed on the notification bar like clokc battery battery precentage and so on, but i cant find it anymore

Hi @Sahman;
The battery percentage you can still turn off, go to Settings >Battery >battery percentage>slide to off position.
Ty ty
now just to find a way to remove the clock
Hi @Sahman,
The option to remove icons in the status bar was removed in Android 9.0 (Pie), that is why you are not able to find the setting for it in the Settings menu.
As @NunoSEN2 mentioned, you can get rid of the battery percentage, but with the default launcher you can't remove the clock. It may however be removable using a different launcher, but I'm too used to having the clock there so I haven't really checked for a different launcher myself. The Google Play store always have a lot of launchers available, so it can be worth having a look there!
I hope that helps!
