Not charging

my sony xperia zx2 not charging as will as it use to i use to charge it fine but one day it just stops and then i got to unplug the phone and start again i say it wouldnt even be a year old i got it through telstra and its a good phone but otherwise its crap coming to the charging phone.

Hi @brody-ZSR, sorry to hear about this.

Do you have another cable that you can try with? That way we can see if it's the cable that is causing this or if there is a something with the charging port that isn't working as it should, since you should not need to remove the cable and plug it in again of course, it should work directly when you plug in the cable to the USB Type-C port.

Let me know if there is any change with a different cable!

Tried it with 3 chargers still doing the same thing

Hi again @brody-ZSR and sorry to hear that there has been no change.

This means that the USB port is defect in some way and since this is related to hardware, the device will need to be sent in to an authorized service centre, so it can be examined.

Your Local support team will assist you further with having the device sent in, so please get in touch with them and if you have any questions regarding the service, such as warranty, they will gladly assist you with this as well.
