NFC problem after Oreo update

NFC not working after Android Oreo update. Could Sony quickly resolve the problem? Till now there is no update or remedy. There are quite numbers of issues after the android update. Please test the update first before rolling out for updates. Very disappointed 😥

Just a wild guess:

What if you goto settings->apps & notifications->app info-> tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner->show system-> scroll down to NFC service-> storage

Then clear data and clear cache

What happens then? Is it repaired?

I am afraid not because some report a factory reset is not successfull or safe mode doesn't resolve the problem.

Anyway, it is worth the try isn't it?

Clearing cache and data not resolved the problem. Also tried in safe mode, nfc not working

My NFC is not working i have a 8.00 version of android (Oreo). Any answers? I had reset to factory, reboot, clear cache, try in safe mode. But the problem persist.

Xperia xz android 8

NFC handshake stops after a second and says read error.  This has been happening since last updates mid 2018.

I have the same issue regarding NFC not working on Xperia XZ

the suggested options already done without any seccuss

(Factor reset, Safe mode, Repaing by Compion)

until I've noticed when pairing, I need to press devices a little pit more to NFC Area to  activate it & it's worked !!

looks like the NFC Area getting affected by somehow !!

from the update itself

or from (the phone getting old & its usage - which shouldn't be a reason)

please try this way & share the experience you have

Sony's delevepor team,

please try this method in old Xperia XZ phones and abserve if the reason

is the new update, weaking the NFC Zone signal & coverage
