Today i bought my new XZ2, excited i was. After 4 hours of config to get it look like my old XZ which i happened to crasch the screen on yesterday i was ready to gow. After some time the Battery dropped to 17% and i thought i needed to charge the batteri in the phone.
So i connected the USB cable. Then the phone started to buzz (short buzz) battery was charging for a few seconds, then it stopped charging. The phone then Buzzed again after a while and started to charge.
After a few seconds it stopped charging again. Then after a while short buzz and start charging. The phone seemed to be stuck in som kind of loop. So i figured restarting my "BRAND NEW HIGH END STATE OF THE ART PHONE" would solve the problem. But now, it will not start att all. The SONY Logo comes on, some short buzz, then the logo fades out and the phone is black for some seconds then it starts all over. SONY logo appears, short Buzz and then logo fades.
What is this? Have i spent huge amount of money buying this piece of junk? Should i accept the fact that i need to do software repair on a brand new phone. And then spend another 4 hours to install and configure all apps? I should have gone for the Samsung S9+ i orginally was going to buy. Any one have any solution to this problem?
I installed Sony Companion and it says the batteri must be 80% before i can do a software repair. Thing is, the phone don't charge. As described above.
Maybe that's the problem: you installed so many apps and there's some probability that one of them was poorly coded and caused some incompatibility issue.
Anyways, if you are stuck in a restarting loop, then you should perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. And if you are transferring data from your old XZ or a backup, don't restore apps. It's strongly advised to install them freshly.
