@Abc10 if you set a payment method, the country is the one related to that. I believe that your account is set to UK, anyway.. another test:

Go in the Play store, swipe right, Scroll down and press "Settings", scroll down again...

Does it say that the Device is certified?

Also, is your phone with bootloader unlocked?

Device is certified in google play settings and Bootloader is locked (in service info / configuration it says Bootloader unlock allowed : yes)

@Abc10 I am at loss, I don't see why the App store should block you to download it. 😕

Can you re-download it from Netflix? Use this link: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/12983

Install it, restart your phone in safe mode and see if it works. If it doesn't.. then I will call someone here to help you.

Have tried that installed it from netflix website rebooted in safe mode and it wouldnt work (i think the reason i cant get it on play store is reason it wont work) so went onto google play and netflix wasnt on list of apps on my phone. So tried an older version still wouldnt work. Theres no reason i can see why i can't use it or download it from google play

@Abc10 I had few ideas...

Are you connected to the internet using a VPN, Proxy? Did you try connecting via WiFi?

Help me also with this if you can.. you will need a computer, not a phone.

Go on google and search for netflix android app, you should see something like this:

Click on the link, it will open the Android App Store:

Press Install, and check if your XZ Premium is in the list... In the next screenshot you can see that mine appears there:

You can also see that one XZp in the list is "not compatible" - true, but I was able to sideload and running it successfully... That is why I am starting to think that the only reason why you can't install or use Netflix is somehow "network" related...

Sooo.. if with the computer's App Store you are able to trigger the install process.. YEY!! If not then I can just advise to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion and trying to install immediately Netflix before you install other apps...

I need to thanks @Viridis for the quick brainstorm.

@Abc10 Another idea:

Create a new Google account (I recommend doing this with a computer). Once you got a new gmail address, add that account to your XZ Premium.. then wait for it to sync... done! Open the Play Store, swipe right.. click on the account and select the new one...

Try to search for NetFlix, can you see it? If you can see it then the original idea of something related to the "locality" was right... If not.. you can still try with the software repair using Xperia Companion.

Thanks @Viridis again!!

One of the above should work,  very puzzling.

I'm on same device, same ISP and same network (O2 runs the sky network) and no issue with Netflix install or run. Your device and account should be good to go.

If @YoGems advice above yeilds no success, I'd also recommend the software repair using Xperia Companion after performing a backup.

No joy I am going to back up and do a software repair. And if that doesnt work then will factory reset see if that works. New google account wasnt successful and am just on a wifi network. Have tried through 4g same results. Will update you tomorrow when have run it through companion. Failing that will try to remember all passwords and do a factory reset. Its more about getting the app off google play now than using it on the phone. What other apps is it blocking from me.
