Hi Team
My carrier provided me with a new nano sim as the sim in my previous phone was a micro sim.
The nano sim does not fit. Seems to be too long. By about 1mm.
Any thoughts?
John
maybe, just maybe, it's a faulty nano SIM card, as it should fit properly, you could ask them for a new one just to see if it was indeed a faulty SIM card or you could trim it; keep in mind that if you trim it too much, it could be loose and get stuck inside your phone and it won't be covered by warranty.
Thanks kudos
Turned out to be age an poor eyesight.
Whebn i originally put the sim in the tray it was too far "out". I put it just next to the two parts that stick up at that end. It turns out that below them is a small piece of plastic and the sim was sitting on that and so would not slide home.
A powerful worklight enabled me to see this peice of plastic. So moving the sim 1 mm along the tray allowed it to slide home.
So it has ben working for a day or so. I have yet to learn to love it completely but I will post for other queries if necessary.
Thanks again
Cheers, John
