My XZ2 Compact is not working

Hi,

Am I the first one with broken xz2 Compact? I tried all the ways descibed on Sony support site to turn it on, but it doesn't work :-(. I bought the phone 2 weeks ago.

Any suggestions, what else could I try to bring it back to life?

Can you write a little bit about problem, coz now i understand one thing that you just can't turn it on? Did you tried to charge full? When charger is connected blinking red/green light? Did you flashed any software with for example Flastool/rooted it and ect? Did you bought smartphone from offcial seller? Have you warranty at all? Did you tried to bring back to seller or to authorized service to check where is problem? It's possible that you bought broken device, sometime it's happen. In every market is own rules of warranty, but as i know broken device if impossible to fix it official seller (if warranty valid) must change to new or bring back/return yours money. But for all these things you must to ask yours seller. If you rooted/flashed smartphone with 3rd party apps/sowftare and ect. yours claims give to yourself, coz nobody will not recompense yours own risk, yours steps. If you bougth smartphone from other user with claims got to him/her. it's depends how to used yours smartphone Slightly_smiling_Face

Some more info:

- I tried to charge it, no results, no blinking,

- I didn't try to flash any software, 

- I bought the phone from official seller and I will contact authorized service on Monday, but first I wanted to be sure, that there is no other option to try it by myself.

It's hard to say reason when you did not saw device, that's why is authorized services which have professional tools to detect reasons if possible or just to change details/device and ect Slightly_smiling_Face My advise bring back device to seller or if you have warranty (which my opinion you must have) bring smartphone to athorized service. Professional workers will check it and will fix it. If it's not yours fault fix will must be free for you Slightly_smiling_Face

How i understand yours smartphone is like death, turned off. No reacting in charger (by the way i hope you tried with others chargers too, others rosettes and ect?) So you can't repair it, coz no reacting. You can't turn on it, coz no turning on. So my opinion you can't fix it, let's do this job professional workers which know how to fix and which have tools for this. If you will try to fix without professional's, you can damage yours smartphone , then you can lose support from Sony, in authorized service can terminate yours warranty, so fix can cost for you and ect. When i have familiar problem with my Xperia C5 Ultra i bring back to authorized service and my smartphone was fixed without problem and for free for me, i had warranty then Slightly_smiling_Face

Try pressing and holding the volume up and power buttons together for a minimum of 7 seconds, this should force your phone to restart if it's stuck. Also, if you drained your phone's battery completely dry, it might need some time on a wall charger to even give you the red LED charging indicator. So leave it on a wall-charger for 2-3 hours.

Did you try different chargers?

I tried everything, no results. The phone will be sent to authorized service tomorrow.

Hi, finally, I received my phone, a new one. According to the information from the service the old one couldn't be repared :-(. I hope this one will work without any bad surprices, as all my previous Sony phones.
