my sony xperia xz is not waterproof ?

hi

i bought xperia xz 26 months ago. I was satisfied the whole time I was using the phone.  I used always  the device under water. it was waterproof until this year. ( i can ensure that with photos and videos) 3 months ago i sent  the device to service for  changing charging socket. after that  1 month ago i went swimming to sea as always.  and i wanted to take  photo under the sea. i took several photo and then the device gave a warning about the opening sim cart socket However it was closed. And it began to open and close. the device took water from the sim cart socket..  i send the device to guarantee. they didnt do nothing and they said it was your fault.  but before i send to device to service it was waterproof 3 months ago.  i think they opened the device for changing charge socket , they couldnt not reclose the phone with good insulation. So the device took water. İ was suffered.

i need your help about this issue.

best regards.

I'm really sorry about the situation, first, don't post private info, such as name, address, email, phone numbers. Second, the phone its not waterproof, its water-resistant, which means, its not meant to be used underwater, more so with seawater and/or chlorinated water.

https://www.sonymobile.com/us/products/phones/xperia-xz/specifications/#gref

*** Xperia XZ is water resistant and protected against dust, so don’t worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under the faucet water, but remember all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not put the device completely underwater; or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water, or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty. The device has been tested under Ingress Protection rating IP65/68. For more info, see www.sonymobile.com/waterresistant. Note the Xperia XZ has a capless USB port to connect and charge. The USB port must be completely dry before charging.

As  you can see above, they are not going to fix it, I'm sorry.
