I'm going through a worst problem with the Oreo update since I can't access mobile data at all, the status bar show me that I do have a internet connection but the real thing is totally different, I can't even send a simple text message through whatsapp or any application totally disappointed they ruined my business since I work through my mobile and I need whatsapp and other social to connect with people I work and many costumers, hope they fix this as soon as possible.

That and other problems with Oreo, i encourage to downgrade to Nougat, Sony has no fix any issues reported so, some hope to Oreo 8.1, until then, go back to nougat.

No problem with my XZP and Oreo.

So why is it a "serious" wifi network bug?

Can you please supply technical data to confirm your assumption?

I am interested.

First: You cannot revert back to Android N unless you're using flashtool.

Did you try the options shown in troubleshooting?

Did you try in safe mode?

Did you try to reset network settings?

  • Open Settings
  • Scroll down and tap System
  • Tap Reset
  • Tap Network Settings Reset
  • Tap Reset Settings

Please report back when you managed to solve your problem and report back what helped you solve the problem.
